Copy editing is appropriate when a generally well-written text requires minor improvement. We will ensure your document is clearly written, free of grammatical errors and consistent in style and format.

Copy editing can involve:

  • identifying minor changes which may involve some rewriting at a sentence or paragraph level
  • correction of errors of grammar, punctuation and spelling
  • editing a document to a particular style guide
  • checking the accuracy of references, tables, content pages, page numbers, illustrations, captions, headings, subheadings
  • identifying any issues with the design, layout or formatting of a document
